Programming Team

The programming team, led by Dr. Jim Knisely, trains students to solve computer science problems in a timed environment, and it rewards students who can create strategies under pressure. Teams are given a series of problems that can be solved by writing and compiling programs using programming languages such as Java, C# and Python. The programming team often divides into three separate teams with three members in each team who travel to compete against schools, including Clemson and Georgia Tech.
