Student Legislature

Started in 1956, the university’s student legislature team is led by Randy Page of the public relations department. This year the team has nine members in the delegation. This academic team is geared not only to people interested in politics but also to people interested in communication or simply learning more about government. The student legislature team participates in a mock House and Senate. The team meets once each semester although the spring meeting is actually a practice time that allows new students to join the team.
