The Vintage is written, designed and photographed by students.
This year’s theme is based on a book: The Valley of Vision: A Collection of Puritan Prayers & Devotions. The Valley of Vision is especially relevant to students because Bennett, the author and a university professor, dedicated the book to a college audience.
Accomplishment and character. Those are the two words a colleague used to describe this year’s dedicatee, Dr. Grace Hargis. And Dr. Hargis’s two biggest passions — languages and missions — find their places underneath each of those descriptions.
“Love wins. I really believe that. I have seen it happen, not once, not twice, but multiple times. In the end, love will always win.” For Dr. Steve Pettit, this is the conclusion that has driven his thirty years of ministry with overwhelming certainty: love will win out in the end. And it is this knowledge that impassions him in his new role as president of BJU.
Great semester ahead at @BJUedu. @BJUPresident has a heart for Christ and the students. Can’t wait to see how God works and grows us all!
@BJUPresident unpacked my car and helped move me in my dorm room. @BJUedu #wearebruins
Great opening challenge from @BJUPresident to kick off the start of the year! Love his vision for @BJUedu #WeAreBruins
Each semester, a chapel theme is chosen, centered around a specific passage of scripture.
This year, Dr. Pettit chose "Walking in the Spirit" from Galatians 5 for the first semester theme, and he chose "Run the Race" from Hebrews 12 as second semester's theme.

Everyday we have a fresh start to give Him the preeminence in our lives. #BJUChapel
S/O to @john_gaal for that awesome marimba number in chapel. #bjuchapel
The 88th Opening Exercises began, as in past years, with the student body’s welcoming the incoming freshmen while singing the University Hymn. But the content of the program was different this year in that it resembled a ceremony.
@garyweier stopped by for picture at check-in! #bjuedu

During the summer the wall between the Snack Shop and the Campus Store was removed, and the Campus Store became the smaller Bruins Shop, to create more space for socializing. Cuppa Jones was also relocated to The Den, to facilitate an atmosphere of fellowship for residence hall and day students.
3 wins. 0 losses. 1 tie. Starting off the season strong! If you see several of us today falling asleep while standing up...we got back from our game at 3:45am. Hugs, Starbucks, or a pillow will be readily welcomed by all

In the four years a student will spend at BJU, he or she will have dozens of opportunities to participate in the dramatic productions on campus. The capstone for those studying in a fine arts program is the senior recital. Whether it be a speech or a musical performance, students put their best foot forward in their areas of expertise.
“Tis the mind that makes the body rich.” #Shrew #Truth
Yee-haw! @BJUedu production of 'Shrew', skewed Western, is fun to watch. @PaulHyde7 reviews.

This year’s Living Gallery, a BJU Easter tradition that combines beautiful religious artwork, music and drama into one cohesive performance, will take place April 2, 3 and 4 at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., with an extra showing at 2 p.m. on April 4, in Rodeheaver Auditorium
Wow. Living Gallery was so great! So much talent went into tonight and it's so wonderful how they can use those talents to recreate the story of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. We serve an amazing and loving God!
“A few seconds from my time-lapse video of me getting my makeup on today for Living Gallery! #bjuedu@rkrenner”
For 18 years Bob Jones University has been retelling the gospel story through living art displays. BJU’s annual Living Gallery has become a tradition and highlight for both the university family and the Greenville community.

Like a roller coaster, spring semester at BJU starts off slowly and then builds to a climax with quick finish. That climax of the semester is Bible Conference. It’s a week to take a break from the busyness of classes to hear God’s Word preached. Bible Conference is a key component of life at BJU because it’s a time to be refreshed and to refocus on Christ.

Overseen: Our president weeping over the thought of God's Word being translated and aiding the cause of the Gospel. Beautiful. What an encouragement this whole week was.
God is good! 70,000 to missions @BJUedu #bibleconference presented by @BJUPresident
Only the manliest fundraiser ever. The motorcyclists of #BOJOMO raised $1,245!
A highlight of the Commencement ceremony is that a number of men and women from the graduating class share testimonies in lieu of a commencement address. This is a time for graduating students to share how the Lord has worked in their hearts during their 4+ years at BJU.
Measuring the days to commencement... only 25 more days! Join the countdown by tagging your photos with#bjugrad and we'll repost our favorites! Photo by Derek Eckenroth #bjuedu #bobjonesuniversity
